There isn’t a standard playlist waiting to be rolled out because it worked somewhere else last Saturday. Your guests, your tastes and the kind of night you want all shape what gets played. From current chart, dance and R&B to house, garage, disco, Motown, 80s, 90s, indie and the classics everybody suddenly knows every word to after 10pm, the music is built around the people in the room.
Behind it all is around 30 years of DJ experience and hundreds of events across Ipswich, Suffolk, East Anglia and beyond — so while the setup, sound and lighting matter, knowing how to read a crowd matters even more.

Feel the Presha combines an experienced DJ with professional sound, modern lighting and a clean, polished setup — but none of that replaces actually paying attention to the room.
Some crowds are on the dancefloor from the first opportunity. Others need a little persuasion. Some want the newest music; some come alive when the right 90s song drops; and at a good mixed-age party you can find yourself moving between several decades in the space of twenty minutes.
That’s where experience counts.
I’ll work with you before the event to understand the music you love, anything you definitely want played and anything you definitely don’t. Then, on the night, I’ll read the room and build from there.
Because the best parties aren’t programmed in advance down to the last song.

For younger celebrations, getting the music right matters — and pretending to know what’s current when you don’t isn’t going to fool a room full of teenagers for very long.
We’ll talk beforehand about favourite artists, tunes, styles and the kind of party you want.
From Tech House and UK Rap to current chart, dance and R&B, the music stays current while still leaving room for the wider family as the night develops.
Requests are welcome, the music stays responsive to the crowd, and the whole setup brings the sound, lighting and atmosphere you’d expect from a proper event.

21st, 30th, 40th, 50th & Beyond
Milestone birthdays deserve more than background music and a few flashing lights in the corner.
Whether you want a full dancefloor from early on, a relaxed start that builds through the evening, or a party that brings several generations together, I’ll shape the music around your guests and the atmosphere in the room.
A 21st and a 50th obviously aren’t the same event. But neither should be reduced to a predictable playlist based on the number written on the cake.
Great songs don’t suddenly expire when you reach the next decade.

Everything you need for a great party.
Feel the Presha is the starting point — but there’s nothing basic about it.
You get the complete professional DJ service, a smart dedicated DJ setup, quality sound, wireless microphone and a full dancefloor lighting system.
It’s ideal if you want the focus firmly on great music and a busy dancefloor without adding extra room lighting or effects.

Feel More Presha

Take the atmosphere beyond the dancefloor.
Feel More Presha includes everything in the Feel the Presha package and adds lighting designed to change the feel of the wider room.
Battery-powered uplighters can add colour and atmosphere around the venue, helping turn an ordinary function room into somewhere that feels much more like your event once guests walk in.
Two dedicated UV lighting bars add another dimension as the party gets going.
It’s a great choice when the look and atmosphere of the whole room matter just as much as what’s happening around the DJ.

Full Presha

The full Feel the Presha experience.
Full Presha takes everything from Feel More Presha and adds the two things that make the biggest difference when you want to step the production up again: deeper sound and bigger visual moments.
A dedicated professional subwoofer adds extra depth and impact to the music, while twin vertical smoke effects can create dramatic bursts alongside the lighting at the right moments of the night.
They’re effects to be used when they add something — not every thirty seconds because somebody has found the button.
The vertical effects are subject to venue approval and suitability, and I’ll check that with you rather than promising something your venue won’t allow.

Corporate Events
Corporate doesn’t have to mean boring.
A corporate event still has people at it.
And once the presentations are finished, the awards have been handed out and everyone has stopped pretending they’re only staying for one drink, those people deserve a proper party too.
Feel the Presha provides professional DJ entertainment for company Christmas parties, awards evenings, staff celebrations, launches, networking events and private corporate functions.
The approach can change throughout the event: relaxed background music while guests arrive, microphone support where needed, and then a completely different atmosphere when it’s time to open the dancefloor.
Presentation matters at corporate events, too. You’ll get a clean, professional setup, reliable equipment and an experienced DJ who understands that there is a time to be part of the event and a time to simply let the event happen.

Meet DJ Ruffness
I’m DJ Ruffness, the DJ behind Feel the Presha Entertainment.
I’ve been DJing for around 30 years, with experience spanning hundreds of weddings, birthdays and private functions as well as club nights, festivals, Garage Nation events and summer seasons in Ibiza, Ayia Napa and Kos.
Before Feel the Presha Entertainment, I also ran my own events across East Anglia under the Presha name — which is where this new chapter gets its name.
Being able to move between generations and genres without making the night feel disjointed is a huge part of what I do.
After some time away from DJing while life and kids took priority, I’m returning with a completely fresh professional setup and the same reason I started doing it in the first place:
I love seeing a room full of people having a brilliant night.
